MotorWorld Toyota supports Family Service Association of NEPA’s annual Spring Fling as an event sponsor

WILKES-BARRE, PA – The Family Service Association of Northeastern Pennsylvania (FSA) recently recognized MotorWorld Toyota for being a sponsor of the nonprofit agency’s annual Spring Fling fundraiser.

MotorWorld has been serving the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton market for more than 75 years. With 13 brands, including Acura, Toyota, Honda, Mitsubishi, Hyundai, Chrysler, Dodge Jeep and Ram, it is dedicated to making the car-buying experience easy. MotorWorld’s pre-owned and luxury brands – Mercedes-Benz, Lexus and Cadillac – are all located in one convenient location. Overall, MotorWorld has thousands of new and pre-owned cars, trucks and SUVs on site. Consumers can shop in person at the showroom or visit online at www.motorworldgroup.com.

The Spring Fling is one of the fundraisers that supports FSA’s 14 programs and services in 17 counties in Northeastern and North Central Pennsylvania, including Pennsylvania 211 Northeast / Help Line. The 24/7/365 referral and information safety net service known as 211, a state-wide service that consists of six regions, connects people in need with housing-related coordinated entry, rent payment assistance, food pantries, utility assistance, emergency shelters, VITA tax programs, homelessness prevention, and more emergency human services needs that work in concert to alleviate poverty. Help Line provides after-hours answering service and crisis management to nonprofits and government agency offices. The service can be contacted by dialing 211, texting 211 at 898-211-zip code, or logging on to PA211ne.org.

The Spring Fling offered sponsorship opportunities for regional businesses, display advertisements in the official program, raffle tickets, hot meals from the Mohegan Sun, and an online auction. FSA benefactors also made donations directly to the agency that was established in March 1895 by a group of involved and concerned members of the community to provide diverse services that empower children, individuals, seniors and families to reach their full potential by building healthier relationships and stronger communities.

Today, its 14 programs provide services to residents in 17 counties, including Bradford, Clinton, Columbia, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Lycoming, Monroe, Montour, Northumberland, Pike, Snyder, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Tioga, Union, Wayne and Wyoming counties.
